VICE President

Hi! My name is Ayla Nadjem and I am honored to be the Falcon Playhouse’s Vice President for my senior year. My job is to assist the president, communicate and execute ideas to improve our theater, and work with the board on all our endeavors to keep things running smoothly. When I’m not on stage, I enjoy drawing, reading, crafts and painting, going thrifting, and spending time with my friends. The Falcon Playhouse truly feels like home, and I promise I will do everything in my power to ensure it continues to grow as beautifully as it has during my time performing here.

SECRETARY

JN9A6586.jpg

Hi! I’m Sophia Olegario, and I am dedicated to creating a positive, lasting impact on the Falcon Playhouse during my senior year. The secretary is well known for being the board’s attentive, organized, and detail-oriented notetaker, and I aim to bring more heart to this role by managing the acting and tech workshops and monitoring the board’s tasks and events. I plan to implement more structure to the theater board while preserving the playhouse’s welcoming community. Outside of theater, I enjoy singing, reading romance and mystery crime books, rollerblading, and watching horror movies. To me, my senior year is a grand thank you to the Falcon Playhouse for inspiring me to pursue my passion.

TREASURER

Hi everyone! I’m Violet, and I’m thrilled to be your treasurer for the 2026–2027 season. Theater has been a huge part of my life ever since my very first show in 2016. When I’m not on stage, I love dancing, spending time with friends, working on Girl Scout projects, and getting creative with crafting. As treasurer, my focus will be on raising funds for the Falcon Playhouse so we can continue to produce such amazing high-level shows. I’m so grateful for everything the Falcon Playhouse has given me, and I can’t wait to give back to this amazing community. Let’s make it a great year!

Publicists

Senior

Hello! I am one of the publicists for the 26-27 school year. I have been an avid member of the theatre throughout high school, and I so much so excited to be finishing off my time at the playhouse on board for the first time. My focus has been tech theatre, and I’ve done just about everything from lights to costumes to construction. Outside of theater, I’ve found myself doing volunteer nursing and am hoping to enter nursing school following graduation. In my free time, I love reading, drawing, and collecting vinyl records (can you tell I love physical media?). Even if it’s my first year on board, I intend to make it the best year possible. So thrilled to be one of the Playhouse’s publicists!

Hi, my name is Madison Smidt and I am currently a Junior! I am so thrilled to be one of the two publicists here at the Falcon Playhouse! As a publicist, I advertise our shows and our wonderful theater program to the community through social media, word of mouth, and printed materials. Theater has always been my passion, and I am so honored to be given the opportunity to be in such a leadership position! I love meeting new people and helping others so I am always open to answering any questions anyone might have. My main goal as publicist this year is to make sure everyone feels well prepared and well versed in knowledge for Falcon Playhouse events! Theater, singing, and dancing mainly fill my day-to-day schedule, but I also enjoy shopping, scrolling, jewelry making, and hanging out with my friends in my free time. I am so excited for another amazing season!

TECH REPRESENTATIVE

Board Bio Placeholder.jpg

Hi! I’m Charlie, and I am very excited to be the tech representative! I started theater last summer and immediately fell in love with it; I’ve taken part in every production since. When I’m not at theater, I like to crochet, knit, dance, write, and play board games and RPGs. My job is to make sure tech is represented and seen in our theater. I also keep track of all thespian hours. My goals this year are to improve communication between departments, encourage new technicians to take larger roles, have tech participate in media more, and protect our materials. I’m looking forward to working with the board and helping technicians in our playhouse!

Historian

Hi! I’m Ella Sterling, your historian back for my second year! My job (which dosent even feel like a job) is to take photos, decorate the historian hall, and document history any way possible. I try to be a voice for the people- speaking out in board meetings on any issues or ideas for the playhouse. I love to do hair and makeup, as well as dance in all the shows, and have since my freshman year. I’m so greatful to be in this position and can’t wait to make the best of it this final year.

Improv representative

Welcome! It is with profound, frankly unparalleled enthusiasm and ceremonious delight that I continue the increasingly magnificent legacy of the Improv Representative.

In my final, culminating year at Scripps, I eagerly anticipate the brilliant, wonderfully eccentric talent that will soon grace our beloved Playhouse.

Beyond the theater, I may be found belting dramatic musical compositions well beyond my vocal capabilities, wandering the streets with questionable urgency, and rapidly departing from anyone attempting to catch me (you will never catch UP to me).

The Playhouse is a magical, delightfully chaotic place where friendships are forged, mistakes are embraced, and memories remain long after the final curtain.

My greatest aspiration is to leave a legacy so unnecessarily monumental that future generations look back with profound admiration, mild confusion, and absolutely no understanding of why I used quite so many adjectives.

MEMBERs AT LARGE

Board Bio Placeholder.jpg

Junior, she/her, Hello! I'm Juliana Shadburn and I am a member at large on the Falcon Playhouse board this year. I primarily focus on connecting the playhouse to other theaters and advocating for students both in middle school and high school to join us onstage and backstage. When I'm not performing or doing tech for one of our shows, I love writing, reading, playing softball, and swimming/surfing in the ocean. I'm excited for our shows this year and I'm so grateful to be a part of the management of this incredible theater behind the scenes.

Hello, my name is Philip! I am a junior and I am overjoyed to be serving the Falcon Playhouse as one of two Members at Large for this school year. I began participating in theatre shows near the end of my freshman year and never since have I regretted taking the plunge. As a Member at Large, I'm excited to work as an advocate for the various members of our theatre while also bringing new, creative ideas to the community and supporting the other members of our board in general. Outside of theatre, I also enjoy reading, editing Wikipedia, and listening to music. I look forward to bringing yet another spellbinding Falcon Playhouse season to life!
